Celebrating Our 2025 Centurion Camera Club Award Winners!
On Saturday, 14 March, Centurion Camera Club members came together at Rietvlei Dam for a very special evening celebrating photography, creativity and the achievements of our members during 2025.
Our annual awards evening is always about more than trophies and certificates. It gives us an opportunity to look back at the year, recognise the photographers who have worked hard at developing their craft and, most importantly, spend some time together as a club.
Photography is such an individual pursuit, but evenings like this remind us how much we learn, grow and enjoy it together.
Introducing the Chameleon of the Year Award
This year also marked a first for Centurion Camera Club with the introduction of our Chameleon of the Year Award, or COTY.
The award was created to recognise photographic versatility and overall achievement. To compete for Chameleon of the Year, photographers entered images across ten different photographic categories, challenging themselves to produce strong work across a broad range of subjects and styles.
The photographer achieving the best overall performance across those categories becomes our Chameleon of the Year.
And our very first Centurion Camera Club Chameleon of the Year is Hendrik Louw.
A huge congratulations to Hendrik on becoming the inaugural winner of this award and earning his place in the club’s history.

Congratulations to Our Members
Every one of these awards represents many hours behind the camera, experimenting with ideas, learning new techniques, editing images and having the courage to submit work for judging.
But awards are only one part of what makes a camera club special. We also celebrate the photographs that nearly made it, the experiments that didn’t quite work, the new techniques learned along the way and the friendships built around our shared love of photography.
Congratulations to all our 2025 winners, and thank you to every Centurion Camera Club member who contributed to another wonderful year of photography.
